Quality Policy Statement
Lawson H.I.S. Ltd., is a distributor of industrial hardware and consumables to all sectors of industry. The Company seeks to meet the needs of our customers by providing quality products, customer service and price performance.
The Company operates a Quality Management System in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001. The Company is committed to continual improvement of the Quality System and the quality of service provided to our customers. All personnel are charged with understanding the importance of Quality and are to abide with the contents of the Quality System and this Policy.
This Policy is displayed within the Company premises for all to see and is brought to the attention of all employees during their induction to the company.
The Quality Policy is based on the following basic Objectives:
To identify very carefully the needs of our customers and ensure that we consistently meet, or exceed, their expectations.
To look at our product and service provision processes, identify the potential for errors and take the necessary action to eliminate them.
To ensure that everyone understands how to do their job to the standard required, and does it right first time.
To review legal, regulatory and other requirements relevant to the context and scope of the business and to ensure that we comply.
To ensure that the policy is successfully implemented, staff will be responsible for identifying customer requirements and for ensuring that correct procedures are adhered to in order to meet the requirements.
Objectives further to those above, needed to ensure that the requirements of this policy are met and that continual improvement is maintained in line with the spirit of the policy, will be set, determined, tracked and monitored as appropriate to the context and strategic direction of the company.
The quality policy principles and related objectives will be communicated and available to staff at all times. Training will be an integral part of the strategy to achieve objectives.
