The Fiskar FSK1023624 Power gear Tree Pruner is excellent as it does not have the usual rope-pulley system to operate the pruner; this used to get tangled in the branches and required a lot of strength to hold the pole in one hand and pull down with the other. Instead it's operating system is all inside the pole and is geared so all you need to do is pull down on the grip on the lower third of the pole and the required branch is cut. Brilliant !!
