- Eclipse Boring Bars and Tool Bits are manufactured from 5% Cobalt High Speed Steel for the professional engineer
- Manufactured from high quality steel containing 5% Cobalt
- Diameters quoted are approximate, actual diameters being slightly more than the nominals quoted
- We recommend that tool bits be ground under a copious flow of coolant to prevent build-up of heat
- Square tool bits may be used in lathes and shaping machines
- Round tool bits may be used in internal boring bars and slotting machines
- All tool bits are manufactured to ISO5421
