Now uses the Honda GX120 4hp (2.9kW) engine which is widely used on other Belle equipment.
The throttle speed can be manually adjusted to give a drum speed of between 5-24 rpm. This allows the speed to be set to the optimum mixing speed for certain types of mix (ie plaster) other than concrete or cement.
The GX120 develops sufficient power up to 2,800 rpm,, whereas the old GXH50 ran at a fixed 3,000 rpm.
The GX120 mixer is slightly heavier by 6.5kgs than the GXH50 model. however this is more or less the same weight as the electric models.
WARNING: Oil level must be checked prior to use. Use either 10w-30 or 10w-40 Engine Oil.
